BENEFITS
- The first website we consider is Office Live , it is a free web site hosting, free support through e-mail, phone and online with no technical skills needed.
- The second free website, hosting and blog is Weebly. It is said that Weebly has dozens of professional designs.
- The third website that we considered is Webs because it is a free solution that one of our team members has used in the past. From his experience, he found the tools to be simple to create the web site and to edit the HTML file. He also mentioned that it has great upload utilities.
- The fourth site that was considered was Minster because it is another free solutions that sounds like you must register a domain to get the free hosting. Thus, this site has been eliminated.
- The fifth site we looked at was Synthasite because it is a free website that is supposed to be quick, easy, and requires no technical skills. Unfortunately, we don't know anyone that can verify it is as easy as they say.
- The next site that we looked at was Yahoo. The reason why we considered this was due to it's site building tools, plenty of storage and bandwidth and it's from a reliable secure web site.
HURDLES
GoDaddy is domain hoster, not a FREE website host. Thus we could get www.the-yellow-team.com which is available for $10 a year. The domain that we did discuss is having issues with the new version of fios router to connect. So to create a sub domain at the moment is difficult. Once it is up and running our official site will be http://yellow.xianith.com.
